only hours afterwards

Oh my! I have lots of stuff in my files that I need to unload. Its going be non sequential and all over the place.. Lets start with the future ok?

downtown Seoul Aug 2012

                                                                 the future is now

Yes I'm afraid its going to be one of my time traveller posts. Actually, no, I think its going to be more one of those new literary genres where you just appropriate other peoples stuff and illustrate it with random things until you kinda own it and have made it into a new thing entirely...its the future you see....

                                                                 the future is bright!

"Cloud Installation" Fujiko Nakaya, 2012, 18th Biennale of Sydney
My mum commented that punters should go up to the blue mountains in winter..but hey I really liked it.

the future is uncertain

"Piccolo film decomposto" (Still) Paolo Gioli, 1986, Pompidou

                                                                    back to the future

So because there's quite a few photos I want you to see and because Ive been writing too many linear, rational things I have decided to pluck a few books at random from the bookcase and just slot them in and they will form the "narrative". Kinda Burroughsy..and lazy..but made slightly more interesting as its not my bookcase and most of its German..so its me and you and the authors and google translate.

Also at Biennale on Cockatoo Island but it was just cool bit of art lying around.. not in official programme.
I guess the artist is anon.

"Lacrymoires" Latifa Echakhch, 2009, 18th Biennale of Sydney. Although at first looking like
exquisitely formed crack pipes these are actually vessels to catch your tears.

                                                                   and their hatred
